Program Highlights
Select Georgetown DNAP students can participate in a clinical rotation at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. This optional one-month rotation occurs during the third year of the program and provides students the opportunity to deliver anesthesia care to individuals of the Navajo Tribe in an independent CRNA practice. Students reside in nearby Farmington, NM or Cortez, CO. When they are not in the operating room, students enjoy exploring this beautiful part of our country.
The Georgetown DNAP Class 2024 students attended the AANA Mid-Year Assembly in Washington DC.
They joined hundreds of CRNAs and other students to gain the skills needed to effectively advocate on Capitol Hill for protecting and advancing CRNA practice and reimbursement.
